Open Road Overland was formed with the expertise of successful e-commerce entrepreneur and long-time overlander Carsten Bidsted.
I care deeply for and share your passion for overlanding, camping, and the outdoors in general. Since my first overlanding experience in 1998 and until now, I have gathered expertise from more than 70 countries and driven several hundred thousand miles on any surface.

My team and I have hands-on trail-tested knowledge of what works and what to bring on any adventure, no matter whether you drive a standard passenger car, a van, a pick-up truck, or a fully modified self-sufficient 4x4 overlanding vehicle with all the bells and whistles.
I strongly believe and encourage that overlanding should be accessible to everybody, and that it is genuinely possible for ordinary people to get out and have massive adventures, no matter what they drive, and without breaking their budget.
